A New Season!

After a very successful performance only a week ago at the JMU Family Weekend Pops Concert, the JMU Brass Band is ready once again for another exciting performance. This time the band will be presenting a full concert in the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts. The program will include works by three of the world's finest composers of contemporary brass band music - Peter Graham, Edward Gregson and Philip Sparke. Tuba soloist Alex Lapins will join the band in a performance of the now classic Tuba Concerto by Edward Gregson. In addition, the band will perform Sparke's brilliant Variations on an Enigma and Graham's entertaining Call of the Cossacks.
